Wendy Alec was born in the heart of London and moved at the age of 8 to South Africa. It was apparent from an early age that she would follow a career in The Arts. The early 90's saw her enter the advertising industry as a copywriter, then as creative director of a TV Production House before launching, with her husband, the UK and Europe's first television channel on Rupert Murdoch's SKY platform in the UK in 1995. Wendy was the mastermind behind the channel's radical, creative international branding and programming which now is half the size of CNN, broadcasting to the UK, Europe, Asia, The Middle East, Africa and most recently the USA. During the years from 1999 to 2005, despite her demanding job, she conceptualized "The Brothers Film Trilogy Project". However finding herself too busy with the ever expanding Global television network to start the film development process, Wendy decided to initially develop her project with a 7 book epic fantasy series "Chronicles of Brothers" just to get the project down "on paper". By January 2006, the UK version of the first novel of the "Chronicles of Brothers" series - The Fall of Lucifer - based on the first screenplay was completed. Self published by Warboys, it debuted in only a handful of select stores in the UK. Word of mouth soon quickly spread, a cult following developed rapidly and very soon Warboys had on their hands the beginnings of a home grown phenomena - even available in Harrods!!!!! In 2007, the second novel in the series was published in the UK and after only 3 weeks had charted at No.2 on the Waterstones Sci-Fi/Fantasy chart and had broken through the elusive 100 barrier rating on Amazon. Book 2 introduces three earthly brothers, the De Vere dynasty, Nick, the playboy dying of aids: Jason, media mogul: Adrian, newly inaugurated President of the European Union. One is Lucifer’s clone, his vehicle to unleashing the fallen's ferocious war to conquer the race of men. To avenge the Nazarene. The Fallen come to earth. Lucifer as Xavier Vortegan, the black pope of the Jesuits. Charsoc as St Clair, Jesuit priest, the unholy trinity is born. Soon the universe will be rocked by war...A war for the race of men. There was a huge demand for a third installment, with messages and emails streaming in from all over the globe all asking the same - when will book three be finished? She had already been researching the book for 3 years, fully aware that it was far more complex than the previous two but finally completed it in mid September 2009. "Son of Perdition" is due to be released in December 2009 in the UK and March 2010 in the US - so look out for it. Wendy really enjoys her writing as do her many fans.
