Call Sheet 5 of "Third Girl" a recent "Poirot" two hour production is dated 15th April 2008 and covers a wide variety of topics, from who the entire production team are - from Producer to Transport Captain, all named, but phone numbers blacked out of course - to sets, Artists involved, supporting artists involved to even a weather report.

Full of interesting information in itself and made even better by being signed by the superb, versatile actress Zoe Wanamaker, who in this production plays "Ariadne Oliver".

Also included is a letter from her PA Vanessa Green.

The book still has not been surpassed even 18 years on.

It really does not get any better than this for the true collector.

This book, probably the best known, is in MINT condition and has only been opened to be signed "Barack Obama" in bold Black pen (Felt pen).

One of the many refreshing things about Barack Obama is his self-deprecating sense of humour.

Responding to the unrealistic expectations for his presidency, Obama said "I've been sent by my father from the planet Krypton to save the Earth".

Unfortunately, the irony of this self-comparison to Superman was probably lost on many of his dedicated followers, who clearly believe that – once in office – he can exercise a few super powers and rid the world of all its thronging ills, economic and otherwise.

But as "Dreams from My Father" proves, Obama is no fool and knows the cold realities that face him, even though this intelligently written book is filled with optimism and hope. Which is understandable enough; after all, what else could Obama offer?

The politicians who can actually write may be counted on one hand, but on the evidence here, Barack is among their number (he reminds us that William Faulkner said the past is never dead and buried – it isn’t even past; can you imagine Barracks’ predecessor in the Oval Office quoting Faulkner – unless the allusion was written for him by one of his speech writers?).

Two of her books, The Thief Lord (2002) and Inkheart (2003) have been given the Hollywood treatment, exactly like "Harry Potter" and were made into highly successful films in the last couple of years.

David Mendell has covered Obama since the beginning of his campaign for the Senate and as a result enjoys far-reaching access to the new Senator in both his professional and personal life.

This is a page from a very early World Distributions Enid Blyton "Bedtime Stories" Annual. It is a hand-painted sketch that formed the original page and appeared in one of the annuals in the late 50s or early 60s.

This sketch formed the basic page, onto which the main text was added later.

As a result, this is a piece of artwork in its own right.

This artwork was obtained during the clearing-out process after the World Distributors offices in Manchester were taken over in 1985.

First Edition Hardback version of Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, the penultimate book in J K Rowling's iconic Harry Potter series.

This copy has been hand-signed on the title page by the great lady herself.

The book is in excellent, unread condition and is now a very sought after book that rarely appears hand signed.

This comes in as new condition and looks to be unread and only opened to be signed.

It is Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone 1st Edition 5th Printing.

This is a fine book in Fine dustwrapper and has been hand signed by J K Rowling with her own very distinctive and instantly recognisable signature.

It is bound in Full red and purple morocco leather with multi-coloured illustrations to front and rear board and with gilt titles to the front and spine. The page edges are in silver with spangle stars.

It has Silk end papers to the front and rear of the book and five raised bands to the spine with gilt borders to each segment and gilt title, author and year embossing.

The book itself is in In Very Fine condition with the usual pages having toned slightly as is common with this title; otherwise there are no creases, inscriptions, stamps, loose or torn pages.

It is that nice internally and you will struggle to find a better copy anywhere.

All first issue points including "Joanne Rowling" and "Thomas Taylor1997" (no space before year) on copyright page. Misprint on page 53 where 1 wand appears at the beginning and end of the "Other Equipment" list (on later impressions 1 wand only appears at the beginning of list).

First, the history of the collection, then the full description of the books in order for a potential buyer to understand what they may buy and why.

In 1997 J K Rowling was a single parent working very hard on her books, the rest is history.

Whilst working on her books, she had a local company in Edinburgh look after all her computer needs. The owner of that company was Hugh. Meridian was his company name.

Hugh maintained all of her computers and during this time he up-graded and maintained just about all of the work. On occasions he had the actual manuscripts for the great Harry Potter at his fingertips, OH YES, at his fingertips on the hard-drives he was maintaining.

In summer 2008, Hugh, retired and as part of a “Thank you“ J K Rowling gave Hugh a complete set of 7 Deluxe Harry Potter books and each one was inscribed from J K Rowling to Hugh personally.

Whilst this was going on there were several emails and invoices that were paid and were sent. Hugh has kept those emails and invoices as keepsakes.

The collection of all 7 books, are NEW books and unopened. They did in fact come from J K Rowling's P.A, Fiddy Henderson and out of J.K. Rowling's very own stock.

Each and every book was hand signed and inscribed to Hugh. NONE of the books have been read and all 7 are in pristine condition.

To go with the complete collection, Hugh, also has his final cheque from J K Rowling, signed by Fiddy Henderson her P.A.
